The Week in Pictures: Garden Edition

 

 

This summer has flown by.   A hot blur of days where I mostly felt I was trying to play catch up while running in place.

This year’s garden?  Pretty much left on it’s own.  It’s hard to try to unravel the new mysteries going on within your kid and keep a garden going too.

So it was especially sweet to find an end of season explosion nestled within our vines.

Every where you look there is a spaghetti squash.

It won’t be long until these fruits are happily residing in my freezer, waiting to be used in Parker’s daily blenderized diet.  So healthy.  Free.  And totally organic!   It’s such a good feeling to know we are able to put food by.
