It feels like it’s almost garden time, which I know is totally NOT true. But I want to start my tomatoes inside early this year. Last year was not a great year for me garden wise. I think I was too obsessed with the chickens to put the time needed into the garden, so it was just so-so. I need to plant butternut squash as well as zucchini, get the rhubarb planted right, and keep the sunflowers far enough away from the back of the garden so the horses don’t reach over and eat them. paige recently posted..I already miss that 1:00 church Justine Ickes Jan 20, 12 Oh, I just love browsing garden and seed catalogs. This year, however, I’ll be in Turkey all summer so I won’t be doing a garden here in the U.S. But my in-laws are major kitchen gardeners – my mother-in-law makes breakfast using what she harvests that morning. So, it’ll be fun to see what comes up in her garden this summer.
