Parker spent a good portion of last summer hanging out in his little blue pool.
This year the pool is green.
And much bigger.
Parker spent most of his time hanging out on the edge of the pool with only his toes actually in the pool.
Yup, this kid of mine wasn’t much of a risk taker where the new green pool was concerned.
Sometimes slow and steady doesn’t just win races, it also provides opportunity for courage to grow.
Finally, Parker slowly builds up enough courage to actually sit down IN the water.
Maybe tomorrow he’ll actually crack a smile.
PS: That tubing you see following Parker into his pool? That’s for his oxygen. Where Parker goes, so goes that tubing.
