We had removed all of the fund raising stuff from Praying For Parker. We had thought that by adding a section for ads, we could generate a bit of revenue to go towards our Brave Hero’s medical fund.
And if it didn’t…….eh, that was okay too.
Because Parker was on his way to healthy, or so the EKG and echoes were telling us.
And we believed that healthy was all we would need.    Not to mention that healthy comes with far less cost.
Except it didn’t work out quite the way we thought it would.
And the healthy still eludes us.
Starting this week we have all kinds of appointments with all kinds of doctors up at Primary Children’s Hospital. We have a few scheduled with Parker’s pedi too. A sleep study will be needed, along with a bunch of testing on Parker’s lungs.
I’m working on getting a virtual consult going between Parker’s cardiologist and a specialist in Boston.
Which I have a sinking feeling may take a miracle to accomplish.
It’s like starting all over again. Returning to square one, praying to find something we’ve overlooked, a pathway not being addressed, an answer that might just become the means to our goals.
So we are grateful that Katie and Kaylene put together the following fundraiser for Parker to help with these next few months of Doctor appointments.
(Click on the picture to see all of the Christmas Holiday Scentsy Warmer Collection. I’ve fallen in love with the Santa!)
Katie will be offering one of Scentsy’s popular Christmas Holiday Scentsy Warmers to TWO lucky winners!
How can you enter?
For every $5.00 donated to Parker’s Tip Jar, along with a comment either on Katie’s Blog or in the comments section of THIS post letting her know, your name will automatically be entered to win 1 of the new Holiday Christmas Scentsy Warmers.
Parker’s Tip Jar is located on the right hand side of this page…down about midway, under the Praying For Parker button.
That’s it. Pretty simple.
And, according to Katie, if more than $500 is raised for Parker she will include 2 additional Scentsy Holiday Plug-In Warmers!
As always though, your prayers in Parker’s behalf mean the world to us. We are beyond grateful for all of your love and suppport.
