Santa, knowing that we are working on Parker’s skills for all things imaginary, left the Brave Hero some kitchen stuff.
Unfortunately, the kitchen is back ordered until February. So, we are really having to put our imaginations to work.
Most of the wooden play food is so teeny, tiny. Not good for a kid who is still putting stuff into his mouth. Makes it necessary to get creative with what we are cooking too.
Stirred walnuts anyone?
Walnuts are the perfect size for Parker to make a fist with, a la his OT’s request to help strengthen his hands.
Chef Parker is putting a lot of energy into creating this specialty.
And even more energy trying to figure out how to get this pot holder on.
You are all invited to lunch!
Nut crackers optional.
How cute..never would have thought of using walnuts..very clever.
Thanks for the invite to lunch Parker. Your stirred walnuts look yummy.
He is so CUTE! I wish my three and five year olds could play with Parker. THey LOVE playing kitchen right now. They got play food for Christmas too!! Isnt it fun? I love that age!
I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas!

Beautiful! I taste the goodness of Mom’s exceptional teaching.
Cute. I hope you had a lovely Christmas.
Tammy, his very intent little eyes just capture my heart. You can see how hard he’s thinking and I hope he continues to find fun with it the hidden therapy.
What about golf balls? Are those the right size for his hand yet large enough to not swallow? Maybe he’d like the textures.
The walnuts are a really inspired ideaâ€â€I think my son could get his hands around them (he has trouble holding stuff because his hands get tight). Parker looks so cute!
Wll he looks like he is having a ball with his almost complete kitchen. Can’t wait to see the whole thing. He will be so excited. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
