There won’t be as many pumpkins this year. There will be many more types of greens….mustard greens, kale, and the like. Greens and carrots are good for the lungs. Especially the lungs of a certain Brave Hero.

Remember my post on what I put into Parker’s blenderized diet? Parker’s nutritional lab work came back and it was exceptional. Not okay. Not good enough. Exceptional.

Exceptional. It’s officially the word of my day.

PS: Organic Gardening is one of my all time favorite magazines. Thanks Mom!

  1. Every year, I have this grand vision of making a gorgeous garden full of flowers and veggies….and then life happens and I don’t follow through – I may start it, but by July – I’m over it. Need to somehow find some motivation. I admire you who can make it work through the ENTIRE summer.

  2. You must have taken this photo before the snowstorm! I can grow flowers like nowbody’s business my small yard doesn’t have a good sunny spot for a veggie garden… plus I wasn’t ever very good at the harvesting part. I do grow lots of herbs in my flower beds.
