Yesterday as I worked on preparations for our Thanksgiving dinner, Reed was out preparing the garden for the Spring.
I’m thankful for a husband who understands my passion for all things garden.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow food and the ability prepare meals for my family.
I remember reading about a woman who instead of being frustrated by the messes her family created, chose instead to be thankful for the family who created them.
Is it okay to be thankful for my children while still wishing they’d work a little harder at cleaning up after themselves?
I’m thankful for the beauty in my life. And for the joy found in creating it.
My very favorite blond haired, blue eyed girl spent the morning creating beauty for our Thanksgiving table.
I’m thankful for the chance to find great joy in the simplest of things.
Like thrifted cloth napkins for our Thanksgiving dinner table.
I’m thankful for the memories that were made today.
I’m thankful for the relationship between my Dad and Parker.
The minute my Dad walks into our home, everyone else fades into the background for Parker. He adores my Dad. And I know the feeling is mutual.
It makes me believe that these two have known each other way before the time that is now.
I’m thankful to know that families are truly forever.
Oh, and naps. I’m really, really thankful for naps.
