You know your PT rocks when she can put your kid in one of these and and yet your kid still adores her.
Thanks, Jodi! You rock!

Standers are quite the contraptions aren’t they! Zoey is not using one yet,not nearly ready for it but I would imagine it opens up a whole new world for them as they gaze out from a new vantage point.Kind of like sitting ……. I keep saying to Zoey “girl you got to get sitting, there’s a whole world out there waiting for you.” In her time,I know.As for Parker ..cute as ever.
LOL–So true! Good job Parker!
LOL–So true!! Good job Parker!
Sorry about all the comments:)
Parky! You are such a strong little guy! That looks like such hard work! I love you sweetie. I love the last picture, lol! What a DOLL!!!!!
Much love, hugs and prayers,
Amy
I just went over and read your article Tammy. Of course it tugged at my heartstrings, as Parker always does! It sounds to me like he is learning so much! And you are the BEST teacher in my book because you take every opportunity to teach Parker! That is a brilliant teacher as far as I am concerned! Parker is so smart! Signing monster when a doctor walks in, oh my gosh!!! Can he get any cuter???
Our PT is using that with Baby Boy and he hates it too! But he always seems to snuggle up with her when he’s done. Those are good signs!!
He looks way too cute though!
WOO HOO – WAY TO GO LITTLE BUDDY!!!
You know, all the amazing unusual things aside that Parker has bested.. he is really the cutest kid out there. Plain and Simple.
Addison just got a stander a few weeks ago. Too bad we don’t live near each other–they could have little dates in their standers!
Such a cutie!
Hi there Parker!!! I hope you have a great week!
Hi Parker, My mom and me have been reading about you for a few weeks. You are so cute. I had a trach just like you for seven years. Hang in there buddy. We are praying for you. You look really good in your new stander. You can see some pictures of me on my blog site.
What an incredible looking contraption! And a good tribute to good PTs . . .
Awesome! Most kids I’ve seen like standers (at least for a few minutes!)
I recognize that apparatus.
Did I mention how much I love the photos where Parker has that adorable face prompted on his hand? Yeah, I do.
It’s great that Parker is standing at a young age. Early intervention is important for health benefits down the road.
Tammy,
My brother-in-law used a stander regularly when he was in his early 20s due to his disability. They are a great “evil” if you know what I mean. When Leigh used it he watched telly standing up. Strange to see a man you normally see in a wheelchair standing up
Parker is looking very well at the moment (or is he just smiling well)
I remember when my daughter was young it was a special made board that leaned up against the table…. wow… this is a wonderful contraption!! and yes, we are always thankful when they adore the people that help with them!!!!!
Tammy,
I think Parker has the best teacher in the world! No one can love your child like you do and that’s what you put into his care and his learning! My prayers are with you guys!
In His Love and Blessings,
