His family’s insurance company, perhaps feeling the need to perpetuate the insurance stereotype, refuses to assist with the expense of medical devices that are absolutely vital to Parker’s well-being.Melody of Slurping Life has generously decided to host a fund-raiser for Parker from July 23 through July 27. The minimum donation is $2, and all donations will go directly into an account that can be accessed by Parker’s parents. As a bonus, Melody is offering prizes (donated by herself and others) which include Hewlett Packard’s offering of a digital camera/printer/accessories package retailing for approximately $430. Everyone who donates at least $2 (larger contributions are certainly welcome, too) during July 23 through July 27 will be eligible to win a prize.Melody contacted me about donating a prize, and I was most happy to be a part of this fund raiser.
