Focusing On The Good:

Because there really is so much good in our lives.

I got to go to one of Rigel’s basketball games last night.

Letters like this from my Missionary. Oh. I am SO gonna have this one framed. :)

Dear Mom,

Hey how are things going? I am so excited to be heading off to Cali tomorrow. I can not wait, and I owe it all to you. Thank you so much mom for always being there for me, and always kicking me in the butt and telling me to do things when I always thought I was right, and I always thought I was king of the hill.

It amazes me, how much disrespect that I treated you with sometimes. I cant believe it some times. I just want to get on my knees and ask for forgiveness and cry. I cant believe some of the things that I did to you. I am so sorry for all of those things, and hope you find it in in your heart to forgive me. You are such a hard worker and an amazing mother. I took you for granted, and I should not of. It is one thing that I am really going have to change when I get back, and make up for lost time.

Just so you know, Brant is a wonderful kid. Strong headed like his Dad. But wonderful. I’m so grateful to be his Mom.

It is time to start focusing on what I’m thankful for. The rest will take care of itself.
