Oh, Tammy…I wonder if you can contact Ebay and explain and see if they can do anything. I'm not sure what their policy is, but maybe they can help. If they have 100% positive feedback, there's no reason to suspect that they're not honest. I would have done the very same thing. And I do not know how people can put their heads on their pillow at night knowing what a piece they are. I hope you get all of this resolved and at least get your money back if you don't get the product. The curse of the middle class…too rich to get assistance, too poor to do it on our own. It's not right.
(p.s. I LOVE the muppets too! Beaker and the Swedish Chef are my favorites! I just don't want to be one! I want to be 'stunning' like Christine! heehee)
Oh Tammy that just makes me sick! I wouldn't blame yourself though – she had 100% positive feedback and you trust that people are going to be honest and send you what they have sold. Can't you report her to ebay? They have a fraud division or something don't they?
On another note – what happened to your post over the weekend about the cpap mask not being FDA-approved? I was going to do a post on my blog about that this morning in hopes that any Canadian readers might be able to help out. I was going to link to that thread so they could read the whole story but now I don't see it.
I am so sorry for you stuggles. Being a single mom with a dauther in a wheel chair with special needs I can feel the pain and frutstation of what you are going thru. I know when things got really bad for me, I started writing everyone I could. I would write companines telling them my situation and ask for coupons or anything to help. Sometimes I would even get free supplies.
I even went to churches with missions in my area. Alot of places carry what you may need and may can give you some to help cut the cost.
I am sure you have done all these things too, but had to mention anyway.
Sometimes you just got to let yourself be seen and just put it out there. Write Kids are Us, Walmart, Target, Gerbers, anyone who has anything to do with babies. I sent over 100 letters to different people, and only a few answered but it did help.
You and Your family are in my prayers……..Sonja
I came here via a link from 'A Chelsea Morning'. I wanted to tell you that I have had a bit of experience with ebay and if you contact them and give them all the info they should be able to refund your money and ban that person from selling to anyone else. Good luck to you, and I will be praying for you family.
Can you put a stop on the payment somehow? And yes, I agree with Sonja, write some letters. You are in my prayers!
If you paid thru paypal you will be covered, I was when an ebayer never sent me my item. It just sucks that life isnt always fair…seems like all the good people get "screwed" As for the not so good life just goes on for them. Will pray for you!
Denise
How awful! I hope it's some sort of glitch and you either get your money back or get the pedisure! Good luck, my fingers are crossed for you guys!!
Wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. Couple of years ago. when husband was out of work, we got some wonderful assistance from our Community Services League. They are in a lot of towns, do you have anything like that? Since my husband hadn't been out of work for very long at the time, we were not eligible for many services, because they based it on previous income, but the CSL gave us groceries and personal items like shampoo, even school supplies. It helped what few dollars we had, stretch further. I hope there is something like that available to you. God bless you, darlin'.
Hey, doesn't eBay "insure" purchases under $1000, against bums like this?
When our little guy was sick I was deperate. We didn't qualify for WIC or any other assistance so a dear friend suggested I contact the rep in our area the delivers to the doctors offices. I left a nice message and ask if I could get coupons – samples whatever he could spare. The next day I came home to 4 cases of his special formula! What a blessing this man/company was to us. We will continue to pray for Parker. I so enjoy reading yours posts.
If you are in Utah (which I think you might be, judging from some of your posts), have you tried shopping at Market Square (I think it is around 17th south and Redwood road in SLC). They get all kinds of food and other goodies that "fell off the truck" from other stores. Maybe they'd have pediasure? Maybe they'd have other foodstuffs that the rest of your family could eat, and free up the budget for pediasure? Good luck!
Hello. I am one of the unfortunate ones who also won one of these Pediasure auctions. I want to take this opportunity to let you know how I believe this scam worked. The seller put off the buyers as long as she could saying the product had to be ordered and would take a while to ship. If you don't know, there is only a small window of time for you to file a non-receipt of item from Paypal. She was trying her best to keep people satisfied until this window closed and now she is long gone with all that money. If you try to file with Paypal after the 45 days, then you are out of luck. They won't even look at the claim. Even if you file within the allotted time and Paypal rules in your favor, if there is no money in her account, then you guessed it, you get nothing. They will put a hold on her account and if any money comes in they will immediately transfer it to you, but that's a big if. That's what happened to me. I filed the claim, got it approved by Paypal, but then there was no money to give the refund. Luckily for me, someone must have sent her a payment and that money was sent to me as the refund, but that was a slim chance. I just want to spread the word on these types of scams. There is no protection on Ebay or Paypal if someone truly is a scam artist. They make you think there is, but let's face it, if the money has been withdrawn from the account, there is nothing they can do to make her put money back in there for a refund. Beware. She had 100% positive then scammed around $2000 from buyers before she was "found out" and by then it was too late. She STILL has not been suspended by Ebay and she has received 10 negative comments over the last couple of weeks.
