I wanted to share with you one of Reed’s latest projects. He put in new taps on boths side of our yard. He tied them into our existing sprinkler system using mostly scrounged materials. Before we only had the taps at the front and back of our house that tied into our culinary water. The new taps will make use of our $20.00 a month all-you-can-use-secondary-water. We are trying to save money every way we can these days.
During this whole process Reed kept telling me how great these two new taps were going to be for ME. Uh, me?, I kept asking. How? Unfortunately each time I asked that question Reed would go into his famous feigning deaf mode and the question never got answered. But he acted like I was the luckiest wife ever for having married a man as thoughtful as he was.
On Friday Reed let me in on just how scary his mind can work at times. He had done all of this work JUST FOR ME, alright: HE WANTED TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR ME TO WATER ALL THE DRY SPOTS ON OUR FRONT AND BACK LAWNS.
Now, I ask you. Am I not a special kind of lucky?

I just love a husband so handy, so thoughtful that he goes to great extreme to see that you are able to water the lawn.
ROFL!
I’m so familiar with the whole feigning deaf mode!
